Who is this guy medved that you all keep referring to?

By tracing through some of their FR posts, I've found that they've had some sort of adversarial relationship with medved. I guess they're upset that he's shown them up on a few threads, and attribute my manner of proving them wrong to this "medved" person.

Maybe I'll ping the real medved and see if he has anything to say about it...

Incidently, I simply posted my opinion in post#166, then the jolly duo of Patick Henry and VadeRetro started slamming me, so I simply posted information in hopes of "enlightening" them. I suppose they see it as a personal challenge to their manhood or something, go figure..

You'll be in great company, especially if your LGM could be from the neighborhood of Saturn.

ugh. Please don't. This is the most interesting discussion I've seen in a while, and I don't want to see it diverted into theories of how the earth used to circle Saturn.

Crop circles are considered by many to be the best available alien UFO evidence, and some of the difficulties in explaining them by any other means are quite hard to gainsay, however, VadeRetro is correct: we aren't going to accept extraordinary explanations without extraordinary proof.

As science now stands, our fallback position when the evidence is interesting, but cloaked in mystery, is not alien UFO's, it is undergraduate pranksters.

There are two normal IndoEuropean words for a bear, i.e. 'bear' and 'urse'. Those both became tabu words in slavic languages early on, probably because bears ate too many slavs, and they began to use the term 'medvyed', i.e. 'mead' as in honey and 'vyed' as in video or veni/vedi/veci; basically, he who watches or knows where the honey trees are.

In this particular case, the medved in question is the keeper of the bearfabrique web system which, aside from other things, contains a great deal of ammunition for anybody fighting the war against evolutionism in America:

For the lowdown on Chuck Darwin, stupidest white man of all time and his BS theory, and on the continuing efforts of feebs like Steve Gould and Niles Eldredge to keep the charade going for another generation:

Some of the rationale for evolutionists in general and the talk.origins crowd in particular not liking bears may be viewed here.
