I saw another post of some news piece that was mocking the hate crimes bill as hurting blacks more than helping them. It turned out that they were getting busted for hate crimes 2 or 3 to 1 more than whites.

the hate crimes bill as hurting blacks more than helping them. It turned out that they were getting busted for hate crimes 2 or 3 to 1 more than whites. Reaction to the KKK legitimated Black cultural acceptance of crime, especially including "hate" crime. The KKK is no longer accepted in white America, but black reaction to its action in the past has not been delegitimated. It is, rather, nourished--by black and white con artists. Including, tragicly, the media. Take away the media hype legitimating reaction to essentially phantom threats, and the problem would be greatly ameliorated within a generation. But what then would journalism have to talk about?

Check out this article about a store owner being targeted for protests because his store was the site of an alleged white on black hate crime, even though the store owner is the one who called the police in the first place.
