Where does the Holy Bible say Jesus was not married? In the Jewish tradition, Rabbi's were married, and Jesus was often times called "Rabbi."

I'm sure if he was married, the Bible would have included that. Remember, he had a higher calling on his life and stayed pure as an example to the rest of us.

Rabbi was a term of respect for 'Teacher', another term that many used to address Jesus. I'm sure Jewish teachers were also married but the fact that scripture doesn't specifically state that Christ was not married means little. Scripture doesn't mention a lot of personal facts about Jesus but this doesn't automatically make anything unmentioned a fact.

Common sense tells us that the Son of God didn't have need or time for a spouse. His ministry was a brief 3 1/2 years and he was crucified at age 33, which he knew would happen. To start assuming that Jesus 'may have' been married because he was sometimes called 'Rabbi' and Jewish tradition had Rabbis' married is foolish and leads to the kind of perverted and totally absurd conclusions about Christ and others in the bible that the MCC 'church' is pushing.
