Yes, the 'who's got a stronger padlock' scene was a highlite of the 2000 Debates.

As scripted by the publishers of MAD Magazine.

Ya know, this just occurred to me - don't the taxpayers pay interest on the billions of dollars of worthless treasury securities owned by the gubmint, which can only be cashed in by a tax hike or a spending reduction? We'd be better off if the gubmint defaulted on those securities - LOL!

"Kiss me."

"Why?"

"I like to be kissed while I'm being f****d."

Ay-yup!

Up in cattle country, we know what 'service' entails to the recipient. ;^)

That's how they keep a straight face when they pledge to 'serve the public'.

But 'service the public' is closer to the reality.

Does anyone out there know of a software item that allows you to calculate, from your annual "contributions", what they would have earned in T-bills, DJIA, an annuity contract, etc.?? I'm 60, and I'd love to know how rich I should be.

Try this - http://calculator.socialsecurity.org/. It's not exactly what you are looking for, but if you play with the numbers, you might get an estimate.

You probably got a ton of responses...I’ve been putting such online calculators for a while. Log on to sustainableassets.com to see multiple financial calculators...i.e tax deferred growth vs taxable accounts. keep in mind fees are compounding negative gains in any fee-infested account. fixed annuities are automatically tax advantaged and often suitable ones have no-fee accumulation environment. There has been a lot of propaganda documented about this asset class...now I've to realize that its likely to justify SEC’s intent to regulate this asset class...perhaps out of the public reach. What a nightmare in the making....
