The problem is Maryland. This jury is as sociopathic as the shooter - they want to let him loose to shoot some other innocent person.
Still, the shooter is not alone. We had another one of their lunatic cops come over here to Fairfax a couple of years ago and murder an innocent man in the middle of the night. They let that cop go. Even our local prosecutor let him go - he's scared to death of these Maryland killers. The business of Maryland cops goes way back - maybe a century and a half. They are bad to the bone - the scum and riffraff of a vast continent. These are the guys nobody wants.
The solution is at hand. Barry Goldwater thought it up years ago - just saw off Maryland and let it drift out into the Atlantic.

What that grand jury was saying is, "only cops can commit legal murder.

The award was gonna be for their bravery in using the tanks to destroy the Gymnasium. I will always believe they used the boom on the tank to set a charge on the roof of the concrete pantry where many of the women and kids were hiding from the poison gas.
I saw a picture on the net once of a "bunker buster" which looked exactly like the tank with the a-frame boom on it. It was desicned to drive up to a bunker and set a demo charge on the top of a bunker.
I have searched the net many times since the Waco debacle and cannot find that picture.

Re #14. Huh, guess he pissed someone off. For all we know, he had the goods on a corrupt LEO or politician.

That is not much of a cop that allows a handcuffed man grab his nuts with several other cops helping him restrain the teenager. He does not deserve a badge.

Not surprising, the prosecutor's office works closely with law enforcement, so they probably weren't too fired up to indict the FBI agent. BTW, Andrew C. White, former Assistant U.S. Attorney in Baltimore under the Clinton Administration.

I'm somewhat familiar with the political corruption in Maryland and in particular at the U.S. Attorney's Ofc.

Hey. I didn't want to traumatize the guy that got shot in the face with the Hoch-Keckler M-4 full automatic SWAT assault rifle.
You can clearly see that Elmo there is in single shot select mode, and the JBT doesn't even have his finger in Elmo's bellybutton. ;-)

Cripes, Donald - I'm surprised that those corrupt goons haven't trumped something up on you yet (not for lack of trying).
How can you stand living in McMinn County, Maryland, with the Boss Cantrells of Maryland running things just as they please?

Nobody bothers me,in the presence of high level political corruption the FBI are basically cowards, afraid they will end up as defendants in a federal racketeering case.
I live in South Florida and for the past several years have been investigating an approx. $8.3 million payment made personally to a Mark C. Sapperstein by Pinnacle Towers in Sarasota,FL. that was bundled into a $325 million IPO.
Pinnacle is now in bankruptcy.
Mark C. Sapperstein is the close personal acquaintance and political crony of the Maryland Attorney General,Joseph Curran Jr.

Sooner or later, the formerly law abiding citizens of this once fine country are going to decide that it is open season on federal agents. It is not going to be prettyThey better be damn careful which federal agents they go after.

2. A homosexual is killed by someone's dog and that person is charged with and convicted by a jury of second degree murder. She got 3 years. Recently a guy got 4 years for throwing someone's dog out into traffic. Go figure.

The agents of the FBI and other Federal Agents get very good firearm safety training, and lots of "judgment training" including this type of shoot/no shoot thing. I don't think what we're seeing is a lack of instruction. The whole operation was Keystone Kops. Braga is not the only one to blame.

I was always told not to point a gun at anything you do not want to destroy. Nowadays, though, cops point their guns at people all the time, in order to intimidate. They do not mean to kill the person they are pointing the gun at. They just want to frighten that person into following their orders. That's just wrong.
If police officers routinely point guns at people, they are going to accidently shoot people from time to time. Firearm training for police officers should demand that the gun be pointed in a safe direction until it is time to fire the weapon with intent to kill.
This will, of necessity, slow down the firing response of officers. But that is the price that must be paid to prevent accidental shootings. It is the unfortunate truth that police officers put their lives on the line when they put on the uniform at the beginning of a shift. A citizen should not have to put his life on the line just because he is DWB.
Of course, in this case, the shooting might not have been accidental at all.
