King Abdullah II denies claims of American troops existence in Jordan
Amman, July 15 (PETRA)--His Majesty King Abdullah II Monday denied existence of any American troops in Jordan and any understanding with USA concerning an offensive plan against Iraq.
In an interview with NBC , His Majesty said that the Middle East region can not handle striking Iraq , particularly as the consequences of such a step can not be predicted. His Majesty affirmed that, during his contacts and talks with international community, he noticed some expressing reservation while others rejection concerning a military strike against Iraq.
The King warned that military option is not the sound means for solving disputes with Baghdad. He called anew to resort to dialogue for solving the pending issues.
Responding to a question if US would alone strike Iraq, His Majesty said that it will find itself in a difficult situation unless it could convince the international community on the wisdom of striking Iraq, and that there will be a large opposition by the international community, as well as misunderstanding for such a step.
His Majesty stressed that striking Iraq will lead to severe frustration in the Arab world, especially under the light of prevailing belief that US has a special policy concerning the Middle East and does not look to the volume of destruction and consequences that might happen.
His Majesty said that the attempts of disintegrating and striking Iraq will lead to a catastrophe and will create uncontrollable case of violence around Iraq .

I don't think I disagree with your post, but I am puzzled as to whether I am the target of your first two sentences:
It's refreshing to see someone that does make life to be simple. People seem to throw around their opinions and make them seem like fact or reality.
I though my post was about the complexities of the situation, not making it over-simple. And since most of what I said was in the "I wonder what might happen if," and "it could be" vein, I can't see that I was dogmatically throwing around opinions.
Or did you leave out a "not" in the first sentence?

I left not out of the first sentence.. it was 5 mins to my bedtime and my brain was shutting down for the night. :)

I didn't say anything about Jews being kicked out or not being kicked out.. wasn't part of my point... the two things are compeltely unrelated.

Sigh again you are comparing history to a very unique situation that has no similarities between the two at all.. First off they only pushed Germans back into THEIR OWN COUNTRY... Second off Germany was in no position to wage war in defense of their own population.. please.. the same mechanics do not even apply here.

Alright, let's try this again. The palistians have become their own identity.. they are no longer part of
Syria, Jordan, or Lebanon. The political realities are different since they demand their own state. Israel also has no right or claim to the West Bank... if you want them to withdraw to their borders.. sure if you think that will work. As far as the arabs that live inside their country most of them work and live as part of functioning Israeli society. I never said the arab world would have any chance of defeating Israel but Israel's economy depends on Arab workers.. they start a war and their economy falls apart. Back to school son!

Well you got me because I decide not to bother with grammer or spelling in my rants I'm a useless moron.. that's a great argument.. except the problem is.. it's the only ones you use. Well not totally true but you base your whole arguement off of ideals and emotions and not political or geographic realities. When you wake and notice that you can't undo the last 40 years.. then maybe we'll have the same vision.. and the correct vision.. for what is to come.

It's like talking to a brick wall.. what happened 3000 years ago doesn't matter today.. what matters today is the political and geographic realities of today. Sigh.. you're just as bad as the Islamists.. kill em all and let God sort em out eh? Pathetic.
