President Bush is out of step with a big chunk of the American People, and particulary within his own party, on immigration matters.
If that costs him votes, whose fault is that?
That's exactly right Sabertooth. To listen to the RNC loyalists here it will be the fault of conservatives if the Republicans lose the House in Nov. Perhaps they can explain how this is any different than a companys shareholders blaming the customers of the company for a terrible earnings report instead of management.
Having gone through umpteen elections supporting lesser of evils (RINO) republicans with their condescending attitude towards conservatives I for one have about had it with this party. Maybe a few years in political exile will realign the Republican Party with its grassroots base and sweep out the big government types that are totally out of step with the majority of republican voters. Something has to give because continual compromise with the democrats is what is driving creeping socialism in this country.
