Just got back in town too and posted this on another thread: "Personally I believe Bin Ladin is ALIVE but in custody on an Island away from courts, lawyers and judges." Hmmmm, now he has company.

I did not read this very closely at first and thought the headline said Bin Laden was there....then I read the story and realized it was "Bin Laden Aide."
Darn.

Interesting. I didn't think that Diego Garcia even had a brig. Maybe they put the guy in one of the seahuts down by the beach - where's he going to go?

How's the weather in Diego?
I hope bin Laden is in the bottom of a missile silo with the steel door slammed shut (Xfiles style) slowly going insane.

Washington has vowed to bring bin Laden and other al Qaeda leaders to justice for allegedly masterminding last year's attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Reuters is still writing from the far Left of nihilism on this. Too bad we can't put the Reuters staff on a little island for awhile and probe their journalistic "neutrality." There's nothing "alleged" about Bin Laden's masterminding.

well, if Bin Laden were captured, it might not serve the big picture to allow it to be known.

I would've thought they'd wanna bring Zubaydah to GITMO as quickly as possible in order to completely demoralize the grip of Arab hillbillies we got shackled(up) down there.
Guess not...
Time for O'Reilly's special...I'm out.
