They have them on video. Why a trial? He helps his mother? You sick bastard! Everyone has a right to a fair trial. No they don't, when that was written into our constitution, video did not exist. This is not like seeing a police video, where you do not see what led to the events. These little bastards taped this themselves, for their own "pleasure". They drugged a girl and raped her, they should be put in a room, doped up and released to a 300 pound man to have his way with. An eye for an eye. This poor girl's life is forever changed for the worse and this jack-a$$ "helps his mother". God have mercy on our souls...

Why a trial? You have to have a trial to make sure the evidence is aired in public, and to reduce the chance of somebody innocent being railroaded by the police and court systems because they are unpopular or disliked for some reason. I like this system, and want to keep it. If the evidence is strong, they go to jail. If it isn't,they don't.

Best you comprehend what was written prior to making generalizations.

Everyone has a right to a fair trial. No they don't Sheesh! Gone off your meds again? When the evidence is so strong, the trial is a formality -- but a necessary formality -- otherwise hotheads like you would continue to erode trials by peers until no one got a trial -- just the town Taliban council passing sentence.

In the U.S. Constitution the founding fathers wrote in that anyone has a right to jury trial.
I can understand your outrage at this outrageous crime, but please don't trash our system of justice.
When they show that tape to the jury, those little dirty pigs will get theirs.

With the tape, this is a finished case. This kid needs to work a deal with the DA quickly for a 15-year sentence, and admit it...otherwise, its likely to be a cake-walk case for the DA.
