My guess is they don't shed very much and I'll bet they are house trained really early.

I've read that pugs are among the most difficult to housetrain and they shed year-round...or maybe you already know this and were being funny? LOL! Pug facts

I've had dogs all my life, many different breeds and mutts, the pugs were the easiest to train and teach tricks.
Yes, they shed, but no worse than most other breeds, and they are the best foot/bed warmer in the winter...LOL
