When was the last sports riot is a better question. I have seen a lot of whites rioting when their team wins. Remember when the Peace group[PAX?] had a concert and they were selling water for six dollars a bottle? The rioters burned out the vendors.

As I KEEP saying, and WILL continue to say... THIS has "nothing to do with race" . It is how it's being "spun". I see no reason to protest, I see no reason to Picket.. the police are investigating. (Which is what they said they would do)
The Gas Station Tape hasn't (or might not ever be) released. People are viewing the evidence, The parents filed a Law suit..The police officer in question as been suspended pending and investigation.... I do not at all see the point of "taking to the streets" at all over this matter.

All that I asked was it was to be properly investigated and taken from there. I stated my opinion of what My own eyes saw.

This being said... People much to easily jump on the race wagon, It has nothing what-so-ever to do with race. The question here is... Was excessive force used. (will be answered I'm sure in the near future)

In this case, the hitting that we saw happened after he was no longer resisting. People are right to be outraged when that happens. I agree with you that these same folks ought to be getting just as worked up when blacks are being killed by other blacks in crimes.

In all the recent riots that were predominantly composed of white people, they mainly went around destroying things, not attacking people (other than cops). The Seattle World Trade debacle and the various sports riots come to mind.

We should be outraged in propoportion to outrageouys things are. A kid hits a cop and then gets thunked for it, not a very big deal. And certainly not compared to the amount of black crime there is that the black community never says a peep about other than to object to "racial profiling".
