Sorry, pokey, but Mac users don't use computers for the sake of fiddling with their computers. They use computers for accomplishing tasks. As a Mac user, I am perfectly capable of operating a PC, I just don't have the time to spend hours fiddling with my registry. I'd much rather get work done. And if PC users were intelligent, they'd come to the same conclusion.

I have never seen desktop PC's featured in Museum of Modern Art, but I seen the seen a Mac with the awesome 22" Cinema Display featured in the museum...as a work of art.The Museum of Modern Art is filled with paintings by some guy who got famous by dribbing paint on the floor!

I think the 247 people who are Mac users do indeed have at least double digit IQs.

That's OK... I'm taking it seriously enough for two people. (See my post 47. Way too seriously.)

You fiddle with your registry? Why would you choose to do that?

For some reason, when I look at a Mac, I think of the Olsen twins....before they grew up. I mean, those candy shop colors, that portable television design, that little girl's compact mouse.
A word to the wise; using the Museum of Modern Art as an endorsement is not going to win any arguments.

CEO's fudge the books by 4 billion dollars. Kelly can be full of bologna.I'm not sure I understand your comment. What does Kelly have to do with CEO's? (The CEO of NetRatings is William Pulver . TS Kelly is director and principal analyst at NetRatings.
If your point is simply that some people are dishonest, so why trust what anyone says, well, so be it....
Cheers, CC :)

"I paid less than a $1000 for an AMD K6/500MHz PC three yeras ago with everything I needed. "Honestly you have about another year before some killer application, that you just gotta have, comes along that requires a new computer. Most people upgrade/buy a new computer every 3 years, a few early adopters every 1 or 2. Four years is pushing it;-)

You fiddle with your registry? Why would you choose to do that? I wouldn't. That's why I've switched to OS X.

"Those who surf the Web using a Mac tend to be better educated and make more money....."
You better make a lot more money cause the cost of the Mac and everything that goes with it cost 4X as much.......... Smarter????

Those who surf the Web using a Mac tend to be better educated and make more money Hmmmmmm. If you replaced "using a Mac" with "and are homosexual" the statement would still be true.
Hmmmmmm.

When Mac'sstart being able to play the latest games
There are plenty of games available (check out the Apple Store) for the Mac. New ones too, like the latest version of War Craft. That said, I don't think games are a top priority for most Mac users. If I really want to play games I'll buy a PlayStation
if you aren't using Adobe products, what does a Mac offer?
For starters, a better version of MS Office.
top-of-the-line peripherals
Again, there are plenty of great peripherals available for the Mac, check out the hardware selection at the Apple Store. And speaking of top-of-the-line, if you want an MP3 player that is the BEST BY FAR, buy an Apple iPod.

What's the Apple equivalent for my Geforce4 Ti4200?(after thinking quickly) That would probably be the Geforce4 Ti4200, which came standard with my dual-ghz G-4. Oops.

"You fiddle with your registry? Why would you choose to do that?"Hey, I heard you could go blind if you 'fiddle with your registry', hehe. I used to fiddle with mine but it gave me headaches so I quit.

When Macs start being able to play the latest games If you (and your fellow PC users) spent less time playing games and more time doing work, you'd probably make as much money as us Mac users. But if you were smarter, you never would have bought a PC in the first place.

Let me try again:
As a Mac user, I am perfectly capable of operating a PC, I just don't have the time to spend hours fiddling with my registry.
Why did you / what makes you think you (choose the more appropriate of the preceding, please) have to "spend hours fiddling with" your directory?
