They think there is a good chance she was killed in daylight, partly because of her sunglasses and clothing. I agree with them, but I wonder how they confirmed that the sunglasses were hers.
I wonder who leaked the alleged details to the comPost? This story barely mentions Condit nor his enabling staff.

The National Enquirer, July 23, 2002
quote:
Washington D.C. Police Chief Charles Ramsey told The ENQUIRER "We will find Miss Levy's killer - sooner than later."
Synopsis:
New clues found at the death scene reveal that her tragic death was a coldly calculated murder perpetrated by a heartless sex partner and a ruthless henchman.
"She was hog tied," revealed one of the investigators. And she had sex with at least one of her assailants.
The ENQUIRER has now also learned additional never before disclosed details about clues found where (Chandra)...was found.
Chandra's panties were daintily hung on the limb of a bush. They were intact, even though more than a year has passed...
The panties were carefully placed on the branch, because Chandra expected to be putting them back on," said a veteran detective.
Her Walkman radio was equally cared for. It was placed on top of a rock. It was intact.
The ENQUIRER learned that among the items discovered at the death scene was a lipstick.
"No woman brings a lipstick to the park if she is jogging or expects to be alone...
(About being hog tied) "It is a really brutal way to go. It's painful to have both wrists tied behind your back and your legs pulled back so the ankles meet at the wrists...
Detectives told us there has been significant progress in the testing of Levy's clothes and skeletal remains at the FBI laboratory in Quanico, VA...
