Could be because of wine.

But,then again, we don't know how big the bottle of wine was, some people tolerance levels are higher than others. Some people who drink alot don't really show it. Do you think Barbara was a heavy drinker?? I don't know.. So much has not been gotten into, detail wise. It seems when details are given by witnesses, they don't make a whole lot of sense. This leaves lots of people like me, speculating about what really happened and who to believe.

I think most people involved in this case have substance problems..from dw and his bar crew, to the vd's and their crew.

Good questions about her drinking habits and size of the bottle cuz details do matter! I just assumed barbara was wasted...They went to the garage afterwards to smoke a joint... and she probably got worse.

A: "It just struck me as odd because she didn't-- she wasn't around my children that much...

Dusek is asking her if she was uncomfortable because of her and Barbara's relationship. It seems that Brenda is saying that no, it's odd because Barbara dosen't have a relationship with my children. the word "that much" implies that Barbara has been around her children before. She makes no mention at that time, of Barbara being drunk.

Also, If I remember correctly, Denise had drank the wine with Barbara. And yet, Brenda wasn't concerned if Denise spoke to Danielle. Wasn't it at that time that Denise bought GS cookies from Danielle?
