Many on the threads think the dad did it...I know a lot thinks the dad is innocent....so since there is all of this doubt..for some, if justice happens, realize it will only be known by God. Others are sure the blood on the jacket, the child porn...have pointed police in the right direction...whether it's dw or his son..

Southern--actually, up until the trail began, the van Dams were quite cozy with Mr. Westerfield. Brenda smiled at him and called him "Dave" during the preliminary hearing. Does that strike you as odd? It does me. If I really thought someone had raped and killed my daughter, I would have referred to him as that (expletive deleted) who killed my daughter--someone would have objected, it would have been sustained, so the next time I would have referred to him as that (expletive deleted) murderer--and after all the objections and sustains, I would have finally settled on "Mr. Westerfield"--said through clenched teeth and glaring at him with pure, unadulterated hatred.

And don't forget blow-torches. An undetermined number of gas station fires each year are caused by people who do arc welding repairs on their cars while pumping gas. While the Center for Welding Safety (CFWS) agrees that multi-tasking can be a real time saver, they have come up with a few simple rules handy-men and handy-lesbians can all follow:

- Never weld around your gas tank while refueling unless you are a CFWS-certified welder using CFWS-certified equipment.

- If you have to weld around your gas tank during refueling operations, DO NOT USE A CELL PHONE within 47 yards of the activity.

- Only weld your gas tank in rural, sparsely populated areas.
