The defense has not rested their case...they may call quite a few people.

I have been extremely curious about the poison oak since it waw first mentioned.
There has to be a reason that it was brought up with one of the forensic specialists and with David Faulkner.
As you said, mama, cases can turn on a little nugget like this. Feldman didn't make a huge issue of it either time and left us all and the jury wondering why he asked.
It must be something significant. I can think of no other reason to mention it. Wouldn't it be right out of a movie if a picture of Damon or a possible accomplice showed up with an obvious poison oak rash? Matlock, where are you when we need you?

That is true, but just like any attorney..he's not going to use them if they have nothing but glowing things to say about the van dams-- aside from all the 'whats', can't wait till this is over with.

They've already cross examined the friends of the VD's--remember the barflies the prosecution called during the first few days? And when it comes to the neighborhood "friends"--could it be because they don't have any friends in the neighborhood? The prosecution had every opportunity to load up the trial with people singing the vD's praises, but only came up with people who had only seen them a couple time, or the barflies.
