Judicial appointments in Canada are ALL political, strongly tenured and without public review. The judicial system here at all levels has been steadily liberalizing since the 1970s.
The chickens are coming hone to roost as a result of Canadian conservatives' failure to unite behind one party and instead bicker among themselves.
