This guy that taped the beating has got to be about the dumbest person I have heard of in a while. First, he sells the tape for only $150.00. And by going public with it, he brings attention to himself and his two outstanding warrants.

And I guess that explains why he was in Inglewood - hiding out.

No wonder he was making the rounds of radio shows by phone yesterday, telling everyone he was afraid to go to the police.

Crooks's dumbness is in Darwin Awards territory. He not only did all you said, he then started making the rounds of radio and TV stations. He must have known about the warrants. Petty theft, DUI and hit and run may not be Murder One, but they're not parking tickets.

As a result of reading this thread, I went and borrowed a set of handcuffs from my neighbors. No, they're not kinky. One of them is a supervisor/instructor of prison guards, and I thought they probably had a set around, which she did. She put them on me with my hands behind my back. I was fairly easily able to reach about 18 to 24 inches behind me, and could grasp objects strongly, particularly with one hand at a time. I am not particularly flexible. The story of the punk going limp and them grabbing the cop's crotch seems entirely plausible to me. I would also note that there no allegations (yet) of injuries to the kid.
