I should mention that the last paragraph on EO-12986 was added today. The article as copyrighted did not include that paragraph. I should have put it in the comments section. My apologies.

You'd be hard pressed to find a sierra Club member who is not a statist, collectivist or Naderite.

Thanks for posting this hard look into the reality of Club Sierra and its so called forest management agendas.

I have book marked it.

Is there anyway for you or others to preserve this on other servers, cds and hard disks. I have a feeling that policy statements like this will start to disappear from their web sites and other sites.

This is the smoking 12 inch gun not some little pistol.

We have to beat these people by taking the moral high ground.

It's not enough to say that we aren't doing so much damage and we really need the wood.

It's not enough to say that we can do it better.

We MUST show how the activists are screwing up the very forests they say they want to save, and the damage may be PERMANENT.

I grabbed it. There are a couple of others that are equally offensive that I'll grab as well. The one on pest control is a real piece of work.

Actually those words are to fancy and nice to lable these bastards for what they are in real life.

How about communists, anti capitalists, pro fascists for the corporations who support them, anti American, anti America, pro Opecker Princes in helping to increase our dependence on Opec Oil since the days of Jimmy Carter, anti god, anti Christian, anti Jewish and pro Druidism!?

not to mention that they don't hesitate to use the usual barrage of lies, distortions and bogus science to back up mythical ideas.

Graph showing relative use of various treatments/maintainance, including fire, in the Ouachita/Ozark NF. 1988-97

This trend is likely accurate for all Natl Forests.
