In my personal opinion, Gensis is a wonderful creation myth, it worked to explain the origins of man in a nonscientific community, it did an admirable job. It told a story and also taught a lesson. It's not a lie, it is a fictitious story, a fable if you will. You wish to beleive that this fable is absolute truth, well, that's fine and dandy.

God just told me that you owe me 25,000 dollars, please pay it electronically when you get the opportunity, you will be condemned unless you do.

Is that above statement true? It is written, I wrote it, I just told you that god told me, so hey, MUST be the truth, huh?

Fact of the matter is, you wish to believe in your fantasy of the creation myth, it's fine with me, but to try and debate scientific facts with the bible, is like trying to kill a bear with a little stick. It does nothing but upset the bear.

You wish to believe Genesis, please feel free, but do not STOP scientific discovery because you are afraid of what it might do to your fragile beliefs.

You have confused Science fiction with scientific fact. Darwin was probably writing children's books until they began to be taken seriously by the d*mn fools of his era. It is amazing how many D*mn fools of our own alleged to be highly enlightened era are betting their souls on his being an enlightened scientist instead of the writer of fiction that he really was.

Please read my note # 332. If the Bible is not inerrant, then Christianity has no basis for existance. This would mean that all the fulfilled prophesies about the Messiah, Jesus, were just mind-bogglingly lucky guesses. That the prophesy in Daniel 9 was just the most astounding coincidence in human history.

I don't believe it is possible that the Bible predicted that a Messiah would be born in Bethlehem and be presented as King of the Jews in 32 AD, (and hundreds more fulfilled prophesies) and then right exactly on time a man named Jesus shows up, born in exactly the right city, in exactly the right time-frame, who then goes on to be the most remarkable human being that ever lived, whose teachings were so profound and moral that the world sets time based on His birthday, just by coincidence.

Again, please read my note # 332, and grasp the argument I make there before responding.
