Can't speak for everybody, but for me the interest lies in what appears to be a case of wrongful accusation. If you peruse the threads, you will find the 'hang DW' crowd (like the guy you were addressing) are always all a-twitter about the swingin' and porn and such. Many of the rest of us are sublimating our anti-government feelings by dissecting a court case in search of truth and justice. My .02

Actually calling it "alleged" is not proper. Their swapping and sex parties have been testified to under oath. That makes the lifestyle a "fact".
