Detective Holmes testified that the VD's were under MEDIA surveillence..not police.

Didn't know the media was an official 'survelliance' branch of the SDPD! (/sarcasm)

Personally those orange fibers were so weird, so unlikely to be around Danielle, and not very prominent even in the MH, that I think they were planted on her long after she was dead and maybe even in the med examiner's office.

Remember, all of San Diego's establishment and media, including the cops and the judge, have lined up to kiss the VD's ass and to condemn Westerfield on no evidence.

Do you have any details on the model/make/year/license no of the VD's blue car (believe it was a VAN).

Soitenly!!! Look at DvD, maybe the party gang Barb, Keith and Rich. Or anyone who was issued or overheard the open invitation at Dad's.

That is what I have thought all along. What if some pedophile was there and overheard BVD giving directions? She was probably drunk enough to not notice that she was being overheard by others she was not talking to directly.

This is a big, huge hole that needs to be accounted for, IMO.

Remember, Dusek yesterday, went out of his way to claim that the press was following the van Dams everywhere. I thought it was strange at the time.

The assumption would clearly be that he killed her somewhere outside the motor home during the trip.

A question for you sir.

If true, then why didn't he leave her body where he killed her?

Did he stick her back in the MH and drive around with a dead body for a while?

Wouldn't there be more evidence in the MH if he did so?

Wouldn't the cadaver dogs have hit on an area in the MH if he did so?

He did have 2 MH comforters...they were taken to the drycleaners, weren't they?..if not..why only take one there and wash the other at home.

And how does the comforter end up in the MH with no orange fibers?

I think Neil came home and washed something orange, that was at the house on cookie day...she got one in her hair and the orange fibers are just a big waste of poo for evidence.

....there was only 1 found on her...so how or why place them with such a minute amount found on her?

To me, the 1 fiber, tangled in her necklace, seems more 'incriminating'. You know the saying, "Less is more".

how would they know about an orange fiber if she hadn't been found yet?

Maybe the fiber wasn't there when she was found ... ?

But then, what do I know? I thought the helicopter that was hovering above my house this afternoon was black.

I would also like to know who the woman was that DW saw when he went outside in the early morning hours of 2/2 and where was she when he saw her. Wonder why Keene/Redden (whoever) cut him off when he started to say that? Could have been someone leaving the VD house for all we know.

Gee..... (thinking)...... Diane Halfman?

All blue fibers were on the sheet, not the body. I thought that was strange. Where did that sheet come from? Who certified that it was clean to start with? was it stored in some cop's trunk with old uniforms?

I'll state it again for the benefit of others, there have been people on these threads who have pretty much convinced me that should something terrible befall a child in my neighborhood, I may indeed have second thoughs of offering help

Boy, that would surely be a gutless and not very admirable response to a child who needed help.

Ding, ding, we have a winner.

It makes sense to take the comforters out of the MH after they sat for the winter. They need to be done in the big machines at the cleaners.

He may have started spring cleaning if the weather was so nice that week, washing the bedding, gathering towels that had been put up 'for show' in the guest bath, etc.

Maybe that long, rambling drive in the desert and to the shore was just what he needed to clear out the cobwebs and get on with his life without Susan.

Anybody know the team colors for Neil's school? maybe he washed a blanket or stuffed animal....

The fibers that we should be concerned about are the RED fibers found on her body and in her hair.

Not a trace of those found in any of DW's stuff or environment.

And you can hear the alarm going off.

And with the idea of the phone call to Brenda on the 16th about Danielle (speculation) and Danielle's body being dumped on the 16th(ASSUMPTION), it gives new meaning to the following:

LIAR,LIAR
PANTS ON FIRE
HANGING ON A
TELEPHONE WIRE!

"I never heard of cutting a willing witness off like that. Aren't you supposed to just let them talk and talk."

Yep, one would think so. I am amazed in nearly all police interviews, how the police interrupt someone they're interviewing. You're right, one should just let the person talk, talk, talk.

One cop to another at Dehesa:

"We need something to wrap the body up in. Get me one of those sheets we got at Westerfield's house......Thanks, that'll do great!"
