Not gone....had just been signed out and returned...Dorie did not know who or whose initials they were. The bag was unsealed IIRC.

That has been mentioned before - but we were actually thinking about Danielle having been drugged with something that may have left her system quickly.

Yes, I think I even mentioned it the other night and someone posted the ME report that No drugs were found in body.

Thank you both for your replies. That helps clear up the confusion.

All this fiber evidence has me confused!
If you are like the jury, then Dusek and the DA have done exactly what they intended to do.
The sheet was from the coroner's office. Its used to surround the recovered body and use as a temporary "liner" for the body bag.
The fibers found on the body and on some of the vegetation around the body have some similarities with fibers found from many sources.
In fact, hold on while I sober up have a lucid moment ... :)
I recall that the dump at Delhesa Road was a dump for tires as well as for old blankets and mattresses. If one has ever looked at an old mattress or old box spring, they OFTEN have a BLUE/GREY material covering them. I wonder where those blue fibers that MAY have a common source could have come from... hrmm...

Wow....roofies sound interesting...slip in a drink..like a alcoholic blackout..groggy for next three days.....what time did DW get that shot?
The GHB is also interesting...can get ingredients at a local store.
They would never have tested her for these specific drugs...wonder how many other drugs have to be tested for specifically?
Thanks again mommya

Here's what the ME said -
27 A. WE CHECKED ALCOHOL, DRUG ABUSE, REGULAR
28 PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS, AND NOTHING WAS FOUND.
If they just did a standard drug screen it may not have picked up these drugs - I think they have to be specifically tested for. I wonder.

How could they throw old blankets away before they finished analysing the fiber evidence. Makes no sense.
To: mommya
I thought you posted the material to go along with the DW being framed theory. That's why I asked about if you thought his drink could have been drugged in the bar? If he doesn't remember going home, and there were orange threads in his car (maybe from BvD)Maybe he didn't drive his car home? Weren't the Pizza crew seen going in and out of Dad's? Boy could this get Hairy...Great Novel!

Danielle L had been coloring her hair for 2 years...those are probably the hairs found in the MH.

The inside of mattresses often is loaded with recycled fibers from every kind of rag possible.
To: hoosiermama
It could go to either scenario - or both. If someone did slip it into a drink at the bar - that same somebody could have used it on Danielle too.
To: hoosiermama
I think the SUV fibers were the blue/gray ones only..no orange ones found, IIRC.
It is a strange thought tho...slip out the garage door...DW never checks the next day before leaving....

Scary thought...Add to novel notes!

(Got a problem with opposing points of view?) Yes, they do. Unless you're ready to proclaim DAW Not Guilty by now, you are subject here to ridicule. And the trial isn't even over!

It's gettin late - Goodnight all.

Gee, I thought it was allright, because all the evidence againt him had been presented. Best I know, NO NEW prosecution evidence can be presented, only rebuttal of defense testimony.

Reread #1105
The dump at Dehesa Road was an old tire dump. People had ALSO thrown out old blankets and mattresses there too. Old mattressess and old box springs often are covered with a blue/grey stripped material. I would suggest old mattresses and old box spring coverings are fairly COMMON SOURCE (AKA Shen) of blue/grey fibers that may be common to MANY places.
In fact, Damon Van Dam wanted people to stay away from that dump, if I am not mistaken. The local fire company got rid of all the old tires, old mattresses, old box springs and old blankets lying around in the Delhesa Road dump shortly after Danielle Van Dam's body was found. So that dump may have had Danielle's missing blanket (if it ever existed and we can believe that part of the Van Dam testimony) as well as been a COMMON SOURCE of fiber evidence the prosecution claims was on the body.

You know experimenting with drugs often goes beyond. The only experience I've had with drugs was when someone slipped an illegal into something I was consuming. Wanted to see how I'd act!!! ( NOT fun) Since they were consuming maybe they were slipping it to others just for then h3// of it........DW blacked out.... Danielle died? Wish the LE were more detailed. Maybe that's why Barb isn't testifying????
