Question, if the warrents used to investigate DW were obtained using false information from the impeached BVD, would the evidence gathered be thrown out of court?

I'm not sure. I would tend to think no, because if the person providing the info reasonably believed the info to be true, and the police reasonably believed the provider to be telling the truth, and the warrant were properly issued by a neutral magistrate, then I think the defense would have a hard time throwing out the evidence gathered pursuant to the warrant. Even if the witness were later shown to be lying, I think the police could still make a case that their reliance on the lies was reasonable in light of the investigation, and so the warrant should be upheld.

However, I don't practice in this area of law, and I don't practice in California, so please take what I say with a grain of salt. This is really a better question for a criminal law attorney.

I had heard the "setup" rumblings on the threads, but I just had a bit of a hard time believing that anyone, even the VD's, would be so horrible as to set someone up to DIE!

They are truly, truly evil if they set up DW, and deserve to burn in hell...or in their new $850k house. I believe God reserves special punishment for people who bear false witness.

That magical appearing shell casing...that was signed out of evidence by unknown initials...wasn't used on the search warrants to find any gun related stuff, etc.

All this fiber evidence has me confused! If the sheet wasn't found with the body why are they looking at the fibers that were on it? Or aren't they doing that? I had the impression that the sheet came from DW and that's why the fibers were so important. I'm sorry if this has been covered, but could you help clear this up?

Several people confused the white plastic sheet the ME use to wrap a body in before they put it in the body back with a bed sheet. They then assumed it was from the perp and with addition facts and fictions things sort of got confused. Does this help?

My pet theory is this...

The children in this family have been exposed to blatant sexuality. Don't think that is it was well hidden from them. (How could it be)? Kids know what's going on from pot smoking to screwing...they're not dumb.

Think perhaps an older brother tried to act too much like hyper-sex Dad and the worse happened. (Dani hit her head, choked, or suffocated). Preoccupied Dad discovered this and the rest, well, he had the opportunity to get rid of the body, frame a nieghbor, and play along as a concerned parent in the investigation.

They are saying the fibers from her body fell onto the white sheet, that's why it is used, to preserve evidence from the body.

Fibers on the sheet could also have come from the ground she was on..it is a dump site.

The fibers found on her/body sheet are similiar to the ones found in DW's environment....which could have come from the same source or could not have.

The source is still unknown.
