This reminds me, believe it or not, a hot shot Air Force pilot once flew a B-52 under the Big Mac that connects the UP with the LP in Michigan. Would have liked to have seen that!

I flew some impromtu aerobatics over our county fair one time several years ago in a Decathlon. From what I understand, the crowd on the ground and in the grandstand really enjoyed it. People were waiting on the tractor pulls to start that evening. This was in the mid 1980's.

The planes, described as a vintage military plane and a small red sport plane, treated the crowd to an impromptu air show July 4.

The only problem was that airplanes were not an official part of the day's entertainment of music, food and fireworks.
