Talk about not getting it right, or worse getting it backward. I have not carefully researched the medical literature on this subject and am speaking off the top of my head, but I am a retired pathologist with a passing knowledge of the subject. I am not sure that there is a single proven human death due to DDT in the entire worlds' medical literature. It is among the safest of all compounds to humans that are used to poison other varmits. And any house ever treated for termites with DDT is termite proof for five thousand years. I would pay handsomely for five pounds to treat the new house that I am getting ready to build. Thanks to the PC environmental fruitcakes we saved the bald eagle and the peregrine falcon but at a cost of millions of human lives lost to malaria.
