IN all fairness and with fear of having tomatoes thrown at me this is probably what the repubs would seize upon. As convinced that we are of Bush' s innocence so were the democrats re: Whitewater and Clinton. So it is politics--let's not take it so personal. I try not to visit the CNN, msnbc, cpan journal b/c I know what they will be saying--same for Lehrer and politically incorrect when it ran.

I think the American people have seen Bush and they trust him. Let's avoid those nasty cable shows and keep the faith and pray and pray and pray. The economy is chugging along. And hopefully we can get the market resuscitated after some of these CEO meet their punishment.

A viable political alternative for President Bush would be to bring back Guiliani to head the new task force he proposed yesterday in New York, and charge them with RICO (Racketeering). I'm not big fan of prosecuting big business with RICO charges, and I've had problem with Guiliani's tactics during Drexel Burnham Lambert/Milken trial, but I think Guiliani's iron crackdown style might score some points for the Bush administration if cases are carefully choosen.

Good, sound advise and I usually don't but a friend told me to check it out...I won't do it anymore...it's not worth my time...you're right! The American people do know Bush is trusting and that's by far the most important asset! Honesty's the BEST Policy!
