Just how much was the insurance policy for? Enough for a BMW and a downpayment on a house worth almost $1 mill? They didn't have that much equity in their SD home. I believe they were there only 3 or 4 years. Monthly mortgage payment based on what I'm paying would be appx $5,000. Banks don't want you paying more than 25% of your monthly income for mortgage or rent and I don't think Damon is earning $20,000/month.

Or has the money come from a different source...hmmmmm

On the RR's show today, he mentioned that any donations made to the VDs after March 1, were left to the VDs to spend as they wish. Apparently, it was a disclaimer regarding funds contributed.

The story was that the insurance policy was $100,000.

The balance of the donations after March 1 was something like $25,000. Actually it was more like April 1, as they didn't see fit to cough up the money to the Laura Recovery Center until they were hammered by Rick Roberts and a few others.

Supposedly where the money comes from is lucrative book and movie deals that have been in the works since February. Keep in mind that they were paid by a couple of the networks for the face time.
