Will a week be long enough for the prosecution to come up with some "new" evidence against Westerfield? No doubt they'll try.

I don't think that they can do this, since they've already rested their case.

A philosophical thought: Why would any prosecutor be afraid of the truth? Isn't their job to find the truth, not to win at all costs? Seems like DuPRICK has forgotten what his duty is, IMO.

Prosecution can still bring in rebuttal witnesses at the end.

Seems like DuPRICK has forgotten what his duty is, IMO.

NOPE. He remembers where his PAYCHECK comes from! He remembers who signs his timecard (the DA)
