It is in the best interests of the country to have Larry release his records to the IRS to make sure that something like that isn't happening.

To the best of my knowledge, all dealings with the IRS are confidential in nature. The outcomes may become public, but not the details.

Most sheep don't wonder why. But for you, I'll explain. It protects the IRS for those few celebrated cases they make stick and no one hears about the hundreds that don't. That's the way it is.

Naturally, it keeps the rest of the sheep in the pen as a result.

I don't need to know the results of the audit.

But I do believe that if there were something such as I outlined that could be found, the IRS would find it and the result would be game over.
