I have had disagreements with the President, especially after he broke his campaign PROMISE concerning stem cell research. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, all the way until he made his TV announcement. It was pure politics and I'm guilty of actually believing he would stand up to the media and the left and actually live up to his promise and do the right thing.

But what truly sickens me about Bush is that he unfortunately has gathered supporters that think he needs a defense team every step of his Presidency. Not just a fact-based defense team, but a rabid dog defense team.

You can think you're right about everything, but you're not.

I am well aware I am not right about everything. I thought Bush would veto CFR. He did not. I understand the political reasoning, but I don't agree with it.

Am I ready to throw him over the side? No. He has on the whole done better than I expected.

Your difficulty understanding his supporters is perhaps because you do not understand that some people are loyal to a leader. That is what I am. Disloyal people jump ship when things aren't going their way. That is not honorable, in my opinion.

Too bad for your side that Bush ispires loyalty among his people. We will defend him as long as he remains honorable.

I guess you prefer to be the type of person who changes loyalties on a whim. The name for this type of person is opportunist.

I think you've said before that you're married. Do you agree with your wife 100% of the time? Would you divorce her over one argument? If someone else criticized your wife in a mean way, even if you secretly agreed with the criticism, would you defend her, or would you help that person trash your wife?

Yeah, I know politics is not a marriage, but I think there are similarities.
