So true. Meaning he has no case and he is a publicity hound (almost used harsher wording there)

Lawyers with strong cases keep their mouths shut, even without a gag order. The most reporters get out those lawyers is a beatific smile.

I'd add "fund-raiser" to that "publicity hound" description.
