The proof that I can give you is that I remeber that the ANG pilot's name from the c-130 was a Major Stratemeier or something very similar. Obviously I cannot show you the TV clip. It was less than a minute in length and I didn't record it. It was NEVER repeated, by the way.

There are certain people who continually demand PROOF of things who, no matter what evidence you present, will ALWAYS give you a reason why it will not suffice.

For example, you could show them a videotape of the actual event and they would tell you that it proves nothing because you cannot PROVE that it was not fabricated doctored etc etc. Similarly, you could show them laboratory spectrometer analysis of metal taken from the wreckage and they would argue that the results PROVE NOTHING because they could have been contaminated etc etc.

It is best to avoid the temptation to engage these posters in debate as they are likely paid to post these messages and will NEVER be satisfied.

I'm not saying I doubt you saw what you describe, but it seems amazing to me that no trace of the video exists anywhere. With the infinite number of conspiracy sites dedicated to the whole TWA 800 issue, and the thousands of dollars made by folks like Reed Irvine publishing article after article about the incident, how is it that in the age of the VCR, there is no trace of all these sensational videos anywhere? Supposedly there is also video shown on CNN of a missile being launched at TWA 800. That too, has disappeared without a trace. What I can't figure out, is why news organizations who rely on sensational videos (how many times have you watched the punk in California get punched) would be willing to hide video of an incident that would put them at the top of the ratings race for decades.
