Who is ready to make a bold move against socialism?

It seams to me that the campaign season is the time discuss issues using the mainstream media that the mainstream media usually ignore, thereby informing the uninformed people, and a campaign is the best way to do that. I have seen campaign seasons come and go with very little discussion of issues. Since the level of abuse you now suffer is at least the amount of income taxes you currently pay, and doing what you've always done will almost always get you what you've always gotten, (in this case an overall steady increase in your amount of involuntary servitude), it would be wise for you to ask yourself how much it is worth to you to try and stop the slavery using the bold approach of this campaign.

I think that the campaign at http://www.taxpayerslavery.org/ gives people who don't like socialism, a chance to do something about it. Specificly, sound the alarm in the public square of mainstream media so that the regular guy on the street start to figure out how much apathy is costing him. I am surprised to find that people find idea interesting, and then go off on their merry way. If I could scrape together $10,000, a serious wound could be done to socialism. $50,000 would probably kill socialism. The radio campaign is design to educate the public. Once people hear the truth, it should dispell years of darkness (socialist education).

Am I doing someting wrong?

Do people really not care about socialism?

What am I missing?

I think that part of the problem is that consrvatives are so resigned and cynical, they think nothing will work, a self fullfilling prophecy.

The right of theft has been accepted by both sides of the aisle, they only argue about from whom and to whom. Until we realize this it will continue to get worse.

Exactly. Other than Ron Paul and a handful of others, there is not a single Republican who ever questions for an instant the right of the government to take your money and spend it on whatever vote-buying scheme they wish. Investment in the current political system is just throwing good money after bad.

As for third party candidates, they should think twice about being in government when the reality of $35 trillion in public debt comes home to roost.

"Once people hear the truth, it should dispell years of darkness (socialist education)."

I wish it was that simple. A fellow that had the movie theater in my little home town tried that by showing films that exposed the communist lie. He got burned out for his trouble. Nobody seemed to know or care who did it.

My definition of socialism; when the government take the stored labor (money) from one group of people - taxpayers, and uses it for government "handout" programs. Food stamps, public housing, Medicaid etc.

Wealth transfer programs.

I love this guy-

I wonder if he gets other people to run because of this if they can use his radio ads and websie and also if he will link to other candidates pages that use his ads (and also his web address.)

I live in a democrat stronghold- I would love to stir up some nonthinkers here.

Winning would be nice of course but even if that didn't happen you might get some people to think.Maybe it could be like those "Knowledge is Contagious" anti smoking commercials.

I wish you well, but think the problem is much deeper than you suspect. As long as our public school system continues to pump out these little socialists, some of whom come back to teach again in those same schools, and the rest go on to become leftist voters, the cycle will not end. As long as women think they have to work outside the home to be "fulfilled" and leave their kids to the socialist schools, nothing is going to change.

IMHO The problem goes very deep into the national psyche and it will go away only when the national soul is changed.

The trend towards Socialism began with the advent of women's voting rights.

Had women been denied the vote, Clinton would never have been elected, and if elected would have been forced from office as president, Hillary would not be a Senator, and Bush would have been elected with a strong majority.

Women voters are the enemy of conservative values and individual rights.

"..it will go away only when the national soul is changed."

Actually, I think it is much more likely that the national soul is going to go away as the United States dissolves into smaller geo-political republics or nation/states.

Great idea minuteman2000 and I lookforward to exploring your website.

Here are my thoughts.

Who was it who said that the US would go socialist but that it would be called "anti-socialism"? To believe that we have not already gone socialist in all but name requires a highly polished pair of rose-colored glasses.

A lot of farmers are going to be upset that they aren't getting their subsidies. They might go out of business. You ready for that?

Sounds like the price of food might go up a bit, and the rest of the farmers would do GREAT. It's called the free market. Works every time it is tried.

Of course we would have no trouble paying a couple of cents more for food because we wouldn't have any more income taxes and the economy would be booming.

I agree. But others often like to protect certain segments of the market from the marketplace.
