kneezles and I are going to Foat Wuth for dinner. Will you hold the fort down while we are gone? See y'all later!
To: SassyMom
Thanks, Sassy! I'm glad you like the "pitcher!" *G* Me? Well, considering a huge thunderstorm just went through, we probably shouldn't let me discuss how I feel at the moment. My mind wants to be happy; my body is a stinkin' spoilsport! LOL!
For Saturday, I'm bringin' my camera for when tomkow's "bathing trunks" wash off in the waves! LOL! Oh, and yep -- you definitely "ride" a surfboard, "ride the surf," "shoot a curl," and all that jazz!
I hope the weather is better on Saturday. My posting will be brief tonight, I'm afraid. But I will be wishing you a happy birthday all the day through!
Love,
Beep

Howdy, Jinxie! I'm afraid I sent you off chasing gooses last night; I called my mother and my Uncle Jim (James Carroll Connell) was in the Marines, NOT the Navy! My maternal grandfather was Army -- WWII -- his name was Thomas Marshall Hall. His sister, Patricia Ann(e) Hall, also served (with Indian Creek regiment?) as a WASP. Halls have served in every war this country has ever participated in, all the way back to the Revolutionary. In the Civil War, my ancestors were among the first to die, in one of the first battles (in Tennessee -- Wilson County, where they live now, oddly enough). I think she mentioned a Richard Hall? (My memory is terrible.) Anyway, they were all Majors and Colonels, in that war. My mother is a member of DAR, and she's going to send me her info so I can be a member too.
My father is Swedish, so his side of the family is easy to research! *G* "Nope."
Anyway -- thank you for trying to help, even though I had you chasing gooses!!
Love ya,
Beep

Ours got us at 3:10 today (the storm). Bob yanked me awake so I could scream in pain! LOL! (I think he wanted to get me in the basement so I wouldn't die, thus eliminating any chance of "curing" me! *G*)
Love ya,
Beep!

I read your post to HiJinx, Are you related to thHalls of Tennessee and North Carolina? My Great grandfather on my dad's side was Willard Hall. He was born in North Carolina. His daughter, Ethel, Married my paternal grandfather, Simon Shelton. He served in the USArmy during WWI.

Good Evening CS

I would guess "yes." My mother's maiden name is Hall. Her brother is a "Connell" because he's a half-brother. They had different fathers.
