Then I suffered in "public" schools for the remainder of my primary education. Basically, I was bored. My 6th grade, private education was easily equivalent to a 10th or 11th grade public education. I don't think I learned a single bit of useful "real world" information until Calculus in the 12th grade. Most of the "history" I learned was obviously geared toward the U.N., multiculturalism, ethnic sensitivity, and the basic "greed" and evil United States colonialism. Your typical liberal, public education crap.
My point is, more responsible parets need to be given the opportunity to invest in "alternative" education. If the vouchers are abused and the government attempts to manipulate the private sector, there will still be private instruction completely void of public funding; free to instruct as the paying parents desire. It would be foolish for us NOT to pursue school vouchers. I don't see how it could do more harm than good. It could certainly turn out to be a complete and utter waste of time if the liberals have their day.
HELP!!! Does anyone know of a reference guide, website or organization that is organizing information on school voucher programs? For example, I'm interested in WHERE these programs are possibly going to be implemented and how the programs will work. I'm getting ready to move from Kentucky to Ohio and I'd like to do a little research in case I start procreating in the near future. I've been set on home schooling my future children for a very long time but this movement could open new options that deserve adequate attention and investigation.
