One of the San Diego guys just said something to the effect that if Danielle's hair in DAW's house is explained away by the cookie visit, how come her mother's hair and her brother's hair weren't there, as well?

Well DUH, we all know the answer to that! Their hair probably was among those collected--lots of color treated blonde hairs and short blonde and brown hairs were found there...but only the trace evidence that could link DAW to Danielle was ever analyzed.

The defense could do their own analysis of hair. Samples were taken from Brenda and the boys. The boys' hair was cut, not pulled, though.
