I think one of the problems is that certain people have long histories of bickering and those feelings are carried from thread to thread. It's human nature....for better or worse.
The problem is that it may appear to be different than what is really at the core of a feud and some look or pretend to be much more innocent than they are.
I'm not sure it can change.
