It is NOT Klayman's fault that nothing was done about the treason in the Clinton regime that he uncovered.

Also, I can never prove it to you, but I am convinced that the sordid Monica Lewinsky affair and Chinagate / Ron Brown's death ARE related. Some day, some how, I think that will all come to light, because everything does. But that is how deep the problem of corruption in gvernment is - I'm telling you!

I have usually voted for Republicans, and never in my life voted for a Democrat, but the painful truth is that even conservative politicians (even politicians that *I* consider to be conservative) can be as corrupt as moldy bread. Those ones are dangerous as vipers, too.

There are power struggles constantly underway at all levels of government, too. They aren't all on the same team, just because they are mostly all corrupt, but they will protect themselves even if it means occasionally protecting their enemy.

It's a dire situation we have gotten into because the American public at large has become corrupt, and we have allowed government to become dangerously powerful, and do things it was never supposed to be allowed to do. This is the base cause of official corruption.

Finally, Richard Nixon was a Republican. He was nothing compared to Clinton or LBJ, and McGovern was worse, but he was a corrupt SOB, and we don't need people like him in office. Exactly how corrupt Bush and Cheney themselves are, I don't know. There are truly fishy things about both of them which forbid me to give them a free pass. Criticize Klayman for his present actions if you will, but we should be careful not to dismiss without a look ANY and EVERY charge that is brought against a Republican just because we are swept up in the party game.

You may say that is easy for me to say because you have seen other comments I have made where I have betrayed disapproval of the policies of the GOP, and actions of many of their candidates, but I say that I will take an unbiased and reasonable look at any charge against any politician I like (which is a bloddy small number).

Thank you for your courteous debate. I'm surprised (and gratified) that I have so far received 4 or 5 responses of more or less disagreement, and not one flame!

Well, you were courteous, so why flame?

I think it is sad that people are so disillusioned that, like you, they have become unwilling to trust anyone. I am not that way.

I actually believe that most of the Republicans, and a few of the democrats, actually are trying to do their best. I will trust Bush and Cheney, until I see them do something unethical. I doubt I will be proven wrong.

Maybe after a few more years you will regain some faith in your fellow man. I hope so, because we are all in this enterprise together, you know.
