"Embargoed" is a term used for information that is made available to the media ahead of time, but they agree not to use it until an agreed-upon date. The press release must have been sent to the media in advance of the press conference.

I also noted the absence of a client's name. That is why I wondered if Larry was the stockholder.

Pardon me while I take a break and surf some federal court docket sheets. I'll report back if I can find the name of the client.

I checked the docket sheet for the federal courts in the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. There is nothing for Cheney and there is far too much for Halliburton to check. I checked all of the cases filed yesterday and today. There was no match. Since we don't know the plaintiff's name, I couldn't try that angle. There was nothing under Klayman.

Maybe the "embargo" has yet to be lifted!
