I don't think they'll let us just sit tight until September. They will have us all worked up about some stupid scandal that goes nowhere after yanking everybody's chain and monopolizing everyone's attention during the end of summer news slump.
An Osama video might have been the perfect thing ... assuming he still were alive (in which case "we'll get 'em") but might face undue scrutiny by tinfoil types if he's really dead and they're just faking (in which case "we got 'em").
If he's alive, we'll get him. If he isn't, then we got him. Pithy (and accurate).
