Women want to be as sexually agressive as men in the dating game. You'll never hear them admit it but they like and need and want men and sex as much as men like and need and want women and sex. Where do I find quantities of said women?
To: robowombat
Looking like you can't catch a man is the message women are trained to hear today. Now I like a woman who's dressed sexy but it doesn't mean she has to expose almost all her skin for the rest of the world to see. A woman can dress tastefully and still remain attractive to a man without sending the subconscious message she's available to any one who wants to meet her.

if a dad puts his foot down and says 'no' emphatically and doesn't allow it, then he will create tension with his daughter. The children are being indoctrinated in schools to think it is OK to call 911. There have been cases where children provoked their parents to violence for the purpose of calling 911. There have been cases where a parent has tried to physically prevent his daughter from spending the weekend with a man over 10 years older than her and as a result had the child taken away.
The parent's role is simply undermined. Thanks government.

""Because no daughter of mine is going out dressed to service the fleet." LOL!"
I live in a city surrounded by many small towns. AT the moment, each city or town has it's own number in the license plate number, so we can tell who comes from where. Every weekend, we see cars filled with young girls from outside the city, cruising the streets looking for action. What do you suppose they are doing when they find the action?

Girls were dressing like sluts when Madonna was singing "Like a virgin" in 1984.
Britney Spears is just a variation on the same theme.

"Someday, they will wake up old, used, and alone."
Yes, they will. The guys will use them, but they will not stay with them. But, the girls have no concept of tomorrow.

They may say that because it's fashionable, or because they think it pleases men to hear that. What they really want is love. And, when they start having children, they want security.
Exhibit A -- Monica Lewinsky. She thought Clinton loved her, even though, as Ann Coulter has said, he didn't even know her name until the tenth BJ.

Are parents allowing this...Last weekend we took my son to a theme park. While waiting for a ride to end, I observed two very cute girls, 14 or 15, dressed as described above flirting with some boys while waiting for the ride. I was trying not to stare but they were cute.
Later we stopped at the beer garden to hear the band and have a cold one. There were several middle aged women, all with store-bought boobs and low halters and big hair. Some of them were, well, cute.
Guess who showed up? You got it, the young girls from the ride. Then I noticed two things. They all had the same flag sticker on their mostly exposed breasts. And I noticed that my wife was really annoyed...
Strange world, eh?

I'm no expert on the topic, but that little trash, tramp, alleged virgin Britney Spears immediately came to mind.
Like it or not, she's a role model to millions of teen girls.

"Sure, the mom's allow it. They buy it, they let their kids watch anything on tv, they want their daughters to be viewed as sexy. Women's lib, ain't it great? V's wife."
Many mothers buy their daughters shirts with things like "hotty" on them. Yes, the mothers who hit the streets yesterday teach their daughters how to do it today.

Sheesh. You folks stateside think you've got it bad (or 'good', I guess, depending if one has a perverted orientation). If you could ONLY see an afternoon in Shibuya in Tokyo or Dotonbori in Osaka. You'd think all of the girls from aged 12 to 18 were heading to a motel by the hour with their pimp-san. "Baishun" (prostitute) chic has been the rage here for at least 10 years and is followed up increasingly by highschool/junior highschool girls putting out for the hour for about 30,000 yen ($US285).

I thought '80s chic was my skintight Glorias, roach-clip earrings, and hot-pink legwarmers! (And don't even get me started on my Pat Benatar lookalike period.)

To: MileHi
I think it made your wife look dowdy. She shouldn't have to feel like a prude in a room full of half naked women. No wonder she felt annoyed - next to her, they were too much male "eye candy" for your eyes.

Should a 15-year-old girl be parading around in public wearing jeans cut so low that they require shaving of pubic hair or shorts that ride high enough in back to show off butt cheeks? Are parents allowing this or are these nymphets changing into their CFM attire after they leave home? The parents are allowing it - with the kids pushing and cajoling and whining and crying and so on.
My oldest daughter will be 14 next month. If I had my druthers, she'd wear four pair of long overalls with a ski parka until she was 26.
When we shopped for an outfit for a school dance this spring, I suggested burlap and duck tape. My wife (She-who-must-be-obeyed) has taste that is a bit better'n mine. She came up with something tasteful, but demure (as if that's a word for what youngsters can wear any more). My daughter knows she can't push the envelope like these other kids -- and all her friends think we're old fashioned and mean.
Jasmine knows not to bug us though. She'll lose out on her privledges if she does.
It all goes back to the parents and how they raise the kids (as opposed to having the kids raise the parents).

She came home the other night from a carnival and told me that many of the pre-teen girls were wearing way-too-short shorts and little tube-tops and she was disgusted.Sounds like my daughter...

As soon as Parents started letting them...
To: Incorrigible
I think the thing that is really upsetting now is how young the girls are. I've seen 11 yr olds strutting around with their low cut jeans partially unzipped (seems to be the latest thing) and tops on which the word "Slut" is scrawled in glitter. It might be hard to control everything an older teenager wears, but what sort of parent lets their pre-teen go out dressed like that?
