What they don't say is that the Jews in Jedwabne were largely Communists, and tormented the local Poles. The locals turned the tables and massacred all the Jews after their Soviet (who happened to be Jewish in Jedwabne) oppressors were replaced by Nazi ones. Prior to this massacre, the Jews were oppressors and collaborators in league with the Soviets. They also don't say that when they excavated Jedwabne, one of the things they found was a bust of Lenin. Ooops.

It got very ugly in Jedwabne. At one point Polish schoolboys were playing football with the head of a young Jewish girl.
