The NAACP has fallen far since the likes of Ralph Bunche, and needs to go. The lingering 60s and 70s era "revolutionaries" remind me of the Soviet Politburo of the 1980s. Every survivor of the Revolution gets a chance to relive their childhood and play Downtrodden Hero for a Day..

Years ago the National Review had a great cover of Ted(I never had a job)Kennedy in a big white hat, sipping a mint julep, on a plantaion porch. I see Julian Bond, Frizzel Gray, Shakedown Jackson, etc., as OVERSEERS on the great plantation, kissing up to Massa, whippin' folk with uppity ideas (like "I'm outta here!") WHY? All of Massa's power lies in how many people are beholden to him. Same with the OVERSEERS. Without their lying empty promises, without their forced illiteracy on their slaves with the willing cooperation of the teachers unions and the textbook scams, they would be completely powerless. Imagine Kennedy and all the Annointed White Liberals and their plantation overseers, Mfume, Waters, Jackson, Bond, having to look for jobs because everyone finally realized they were full of crap. What a beautiful day that would be. I also have a dream!
