Q: The NAACP is meeting this week in Houston, as you probably know. And there's been some criticism that you've not attended their convention since the 2000 campaign. How would you respond to that and respond generally to suggestions from some critics that your civil rights record in the administration is not a stellar one?BUSH: Let's see. There I was sitting around the leader -- the table with foreign leaders looking at Colin Powell and Condi Rice.
Slam dunk. Of course, the NAACP will say that's not what they meant, that they expect to receive the same loving treatment received from Ex-42 and will continue to whine when he won't bow to their attempts at extortion.

Close they are going over two things. Krugmans column from last week, and David Gregory's DNCNBC questions from yesterday....

Expect whining and bloviating, depending on if you are dealing with Daschle or McAuliffe. You forgot to include Lame McStain. He'll squeal just as loud, hoping no one will notice he received the most Global Crossing campaign contributions.

Wonder if all that quiet means that there are a lot more expensive shoes about to drop.

Just curious. Did you actually read the entire letter? Seems to me Paige is doing the best he can to correct a big mess left by Donna Shalala, and you are apparently not in agreement?

Just did a google search and found in a Brent Bozell column that Macauliffe invested $100,000 in 1997....then cashed in to the tune of $18,000,000 2 years later......1999.....Soooooooo it was during the CLINTON years. HA

"flicking around on the tube...is Aaron Brown really that stupid?" Yes, he is. But precisely WHAT manner of stupidity did he utter THIS time?
Brown is one dyed-in-the-wool leftist...Hillary! is middle-of-the-road to him.

Can we suspend their pay until they find it all?

And I've always wondered if McCauliffe was the only Dem to benefit with a bit of serendipitous selling.

The guy in charge of the GAO is a former Arthur Andersen Big Time Partner! He is a RINO appointed by the Bent One.
Instead of investigating what you posted, he wants to investigate Cheney and President Bush for what they didn't do with Enron.
Most of the GAO's auditors are lifelong card carrying Rats.

Sure. Punish those who are trying to find the money by penalizing them. Sounds like a good plan to me. Why don't you write Secretary Paige? I am certain he will give you an answer.
To: Miss Marple
Of course he's not in agreement. Why else would he post that letter on a thread that has nothing to do with it?

I sure will be, if I'm not banned. And I hope to be proven wrong. Will you admit you were wrong if no meaningful prosecution occurs, or attempt to justify it?
