for Illbay and his ilk to use this as an excuse for Christian bashing is vile. I guess I'm of that "ilk" then. And, the next time somebody bashes Islam (or Buddhism or any other non-Christian religion) for the actions of a tiny minority of its followers, I expect to see you letting them have it with both barrels.

unfortunately, the muslims who want non-muslims dead are not a "tiny majority". And Buddhism is not a violent religion, so there goes your little theory.

I'm not bashing Christianity. I'm bashing that peculiar brand of pseudo-Christianity known as "charismatic" that relies upon demagogues and with "sheeple" congregations who can't act or think without leave from their overlords.
There are a GREAT MANY of these, and I gave some well-known examples. There are others I know of that won't appear in any newspaper column-space, but they are exactly like this.
Having lived in the "Bible Belt" all my forty-four years, I feel somewhat qualified to comment.

The two are not analogous situations.

You know nothing of Islam and apparently less of Christianity--hence your molasses-thick mental and moral confusion and absurd conflation of the two.
