Is it possible to track Bill Clinton between Apr. 25 and May 2, 2001 (the period around Chandra Levy's disappearance)? I have yet to figure how where he was between an appearance at an AIDS conference in Nigeria and a reemergence in Canada after Levy's disappearance. Supposedly he was still in Africa, but I have yet to discover where.

On April 26 he was in Abuja. Interesting that Rawlings, not a part of Ghana's official delegation, was part of Clinton's entourage at that AIDS conference in Nigeria.
World leaders at the on-going African Summit on HIV/AIDS in Abuja were moved to tears yesterday as persons living with HIV brushed aside the shame and stigma of the disease to declare that they were sure of surviving and living life in full, but implored the leaders to do something about the scourge. A spokesman for People Living With HIV (PLWH), Mr. Muhammad Farouk, a former military officer with the Intelligence Unit of the Nigerian Army, told the august gathering comprising former presidents Bill Clinton of the United States and Jerry Rawlings of Ghana as well as Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. Kofi Annan and African presidents and heads of states that: "Yes, we have AIDS, but we also have hopes that you will do something about the disease."

The last time we talked about this, did we ascertain whether Clinton left that AIDS conference early? I'm looking at a text of Qadhafi's speech on April 27, 2001 where he alleged that HIV was born in CIA labs. He says of Clinton in that speech: "We saw in the past former US President Clinton , who is a good man and whom I saw somewhere in this hall, saying: I have asked the USA to earmark 2bn no currency mentioned for Africa to combat AIDS. But I understood from him that neither the US Congress nor the US companies approved it. " Sounds to me like Clinton was not in the audience at the time.
