There is a big difference between the government finding ways to give good healthcare and 'socialized medicine.' The govt. can work to expand private sector programs etc.

You hit the nail on the head. The ignorance of some on here is astounding. To not know the meaning of what they claim is unreal. "Socialism" is a spin word they throw around without knowing the truth, what it is, or what it means, or even what they are talking about (which iswhy they just toss out the term "socialism"). Ignorance.
