I stuck it out with the blocked in group and the other resident still wanted the car towed even though the owner of the car was leaving anyway. The cops said no way to the blocker and it was pouring rain too. The President of the Association told me to shut up right from the get go and she lost her temper in front of the cops. She may not be President after this year so I hope she enjoys herself while she can. She's going to have an exit like x-42, in shame.
I remained cool and calm out there in the rain and pointed to where the folks should park in the future to stay out of trouble (also told them to vote for me next year so we'd have a proper Board of Directors.) ALWAYS CAMPAIGNING.... Somebody stop me!
Not really off topic because homeowners' associations and condo associations are overstepping their bounds too. We are losing our rights as owners and the inmates are running this prison I call home. It was practically Disneyland when I was the President. Now it's a prison.
God Bless Condo Owners who are subjugated by overzealous directors who don't have a clue as to what they are doing. One fellow is a legal immigrant from Bosnia. He was in special forces in Bosnia and he said our Board of Directors is worse than what he faced living in Bosnia. I believe it...
