had a nice vacation! Did some fishing, got some fish, did some swimming and a whole lot of R & R! Also saw a wonderful fireworks display on the 4th.

Aside from the heat and humidity, it was good.

It's nice to see the results of our support of our troops

Great Monday Morning Mail Call. Always good to hear from the troops and their families.

Reminds me of the times when I was one of R-1 Division mail petty officers. Always got a friendly reception as I went from shop to shop to pass out the mail to my shipmates.

Also reminds me of a message I received a short while ago that I didn't finish the "Let's Get Willie" sea story. Chalk it up to short term memory loss or CRS. Nonetheless, as time permits, I will finish or rewrite the sea story for the troops.

May GOD protect and bless our Armed Forces - Past and Present. They deserve nothing less.
